We're now into the second half of the year and finally after 16 months we are starting to experience some normality back in our lives – let’s hope it continues. Our Tamworth branch has unanimously nominated Rob Heath as our July Driver of the Month.
Rob is a thoroughly dependable, cooperative and always agreeable Class 1 driver. He will start at any time and move rest days whenever he's asked.

THE HGV DRIVER SHORTAGE CRISIS: WE'RE IN THE NEWS

The much-publicised HGV driver shortage crisis continues to dominate the headlines and we've been asked by many leading news outlets to give our view and insights into how it can be resolved.
Driver Require has formed a Think Tank and produced a series of reports. The latest report investigates the critical HGV driver shortage. It also focuses on the longer-term issues of the aging HGV driver workforce and the severe depletion of the younger HGV driver pool, which presents a serious and immediate threat to the UK Haulage Sector.

I have been in recruitment since 2003. In my previous recruitment company I was a National Account Manager looking after Amazon, an Account manager and an Implementation Manager. Before recruitment I worked for British Gas as a sales team lead working in supermarkets and shopping centres.

Favourite band/singer? Queen, Madness, Prince or generally any dance/house music
Favourite ‘binge watch’ series on TV/Netflix/Amazon etc? Game of Thrones, Stranger things, anything Marvel or Star Wars.
