New Branch, On the Road Videos & Your May Update

It’s been another busy and exciting month across Driver Require, with plenty happening both behind the scenes and out on the road. We’re continuing to grow, and we’re pleased to be opening another new branch, helping us support even more drivers and clients across the network (more on this below).

You’ll also spot some great new content this month, as we’ve been out on the road with Gwynne and Ieva, filming service station reviews and various job opportunities.

May is also an important month for raising awareness around health and wellbeing. Mental Health Awareness Week takes place mid-month, highlighting the importance of looking after your mental wellbeing - something that can often be overlooked in a busy, fast-paced industry like logistics. Even small steps, like staying connected with others or taking proper breaks, can make a real difference.

Alongside this, May also includes National Walking Month, encouraging people to get moving where they can. It might not always be easy on the road, but even a short walk during a break can help clear your head and boost energy levels.

Gwynne has been back on the road reviewing more service stations, being guided by our Ultimate HGV Motorway Services Guide.

The latest stop was Medway Services, located on the M2 between junctions 4 & 5, they were rated a very respectable 28/35.

Despite it's dated exterior, Medway Services offers a comprehensive range of amenities. It has been recognised for it's cleanliness and accessibility, earning a 99% satisfaction rating in a 2022 Transport Focus survey.

Our Driver of the Month for May is Ricardas from Ocado Erith.
