Welcome to the latest edition of The Extra Mile, our monthly newsletter dedicated to keeping you informed, engaged, and motivated. We have some exciting updates and events to share with you this month!

First and foremost, the Olympic Games are here. The world will be watching as athletes from across the world come together to compete at the highest level. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or just enjoy the sense of unity and excitement the Olympics bring, there’s plenty to look forward to.

Last time we spoke, we were eagerly awaiting the Men's Euros final. Unfortunately, it didn’t come home, but we continue to hold our heads high. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the Ladies Euros in 2025. Our Lionesses have shown remarkable spirit and skill, and we have high hopes they will bring it home once again!

In other news, keep your eyes peeled for dates regarding the Macmillan Coffee Morning. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy some delicious treats, and support a fantastic cause. More details will be shared soon, so stay tuned!

As always, we appreciate your dedication and hard work. If you have any suggestions or topics you'd like us to cover in future newsletters, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Bank Holiday Reminder⏱️
Make sure to let your local Driver Require branch know your availability so we can match you with the best opportunities over the summer period. Your skills are in high demand, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Congratulations to Nathan⛰️
Huge congratulations are in order for our Ocado Administrator, Nathan Humphreys, who recently conquered the The National 3 Peaks at the challenge.

One of the most iconic and talked about challenges in the world, the challenge is up there with the best climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. And he did it to support Garden House Hospice Care to continue their vital work in the community. They are a compassionate local charity dedicated to providing free, end-of-life care and support to patients and their families. They serve communities in North Hertfordshire, Stevenage, and surrounding areas in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Nathan raised a fantastic £1,660 and there's still time to donate! You can do so here.

Driver of the Month🚛
Our Driver of the Month for August is Malcolm Fenn from our Stevenage Branch. The team received a complimentary email from a client stating "We have had Malcolm all week and I just wanted to say he is brilliant and if he is ever available when we book a driver, we would love to have him again."

Our Stevenage Team also shared how Malcolm has only been back to work for two months after a very serious motorbike accident, so we really appreciate the great work he's been doing for us.

As a big "THANK YOU" for being a Driver Require Superhero we will be sending Malcolm a £25 Amazon gift card. Thank you for all your hard work Malcolm and for Going the Extra Mile, we are delighted to have you part of the Driver Require Team.
