April Edition: Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Insights, and Health Awareness! 🌟

As April unfolds with the promise of new beginnings, we're thrilled to bring you the latest edition of our newsletter, filled with exciting updates and invaluable insights.

First and foremost, we're delighted to share highlights from the recent Ocado Driver of the Year event, where we had the honour of sponsoring and celebrating Ocado's safest drivers. The event, held at the iconic Donnington Race Track, was a testament to excellence in driving and safety, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of such a significant occasion.

April also marks Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, serving as a reminder to be vigilant about our health. Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, listed below, and don't hesitate to seek medical advice if needed.

For the 7th year our team had a great day at Donnington Race Track for Ocado's Driver of the Year event. Our Administrator, Nathan, and Marketing Manager, Katy, had a ride around the track in the pictured Ariel Atom, whilst Senior Consultant, Chris, and our nominated driver, Jak Johnson, enjoyed the day filled with driving activities (pictured bottom right). From driving impressive cars to challenges that put their precision and manoeuvring skills to test, Jak came out on top in our remote control lorry driving test!

April brings us Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, a time which highlights the importance of being aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer. Nearly four in ten people can't name a single symptom of bowel cancer, despite it being the fourth most common cancer in the UK.

The earlier bowel cancer is spotted, the more treatable it’s likely to be. In fact, more than 9 in 10 people survive bowel cancer when it is diagnosed at the earliest stage. However, this drops significantly when diagnosed at the latest stage, highlighting the importance of getting checked early.

Our Driver of the Month for April is Vladislav Neskoromnyy from our Dartford Branch. The team shared:

"Vlad worked with us on several projects, and I can confidently confirm to his professionalism, reliability, and commitment to delivering exceptional service. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that deliveries are completed safely and on time, making him an invaluable asset to any of our clients. Vlad is a Hgv1 driver but is not afraid to jump and help on Van driving or 7.5 tone driving. Additionally, his communication with us is great, and he is always there whenever we need him."
