Have you always been in recruitment? If not, what did you do before?
I have been involved in the Betting, Gaming, and hospitality industry most of my working career attaining the position of Deputy General Manager with Grosvenor Casinoβs in 2018. I developed into the role of People Operations Manager in 2016 which is where I developed my HR and recruitment skills as I was responsible for recruitment, retention, and employee engagement of team members, achieving the highest score in the company of 55 clubs 3 times in succession being the top club for employee engagement.
I transferred my skillset into recruitment in 2021 during the pandemic when I was head hunted for a newly launched global business who specialised in permanent recruitment solutions for construction, engineering and technical executives working with names such as Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, Liu Gong Dressta, Sinoboom and XCMG to name a few.

Making a step change in my life, accepting redundancy in 2019 ending a 26-year career in one industry and diversifying my skills ,behaviours and experience into a new sector.
